Toronto's ultimate fan events – we're bringing the fun back!

Notice of Change

Please note that this blog has now been returned to its original intellectual property owner. For any questions, email events@edthesock.com

March is Epilepsy Awareness Month, and to show our support for Purple Day (March 26th), we are hosting THREE events at the Holiday Inn Markham.

Check out our Purple Day Page under Current Events for more information, or register here.

PLUS, you can join us for Epilepsy Toronto’s Purple Day festivities!
– Enter their Photo Contest. Dress up in purple at your work or club, send in the photos to epilepsytoronto.org, and you could win a prize!
– If you’re a parent, student or teacher in the GTA, you could win CASH for your school!
– Join us for a free concert in Dundas Square! Things get started at 5PM, and we’ll end the evening by forming a purple human ribbon for a photo op!

A rousing success!

Thank you to all of our attendees and special guests at what has become the first annual Futurecon.

Together, we raised over $2000 for Epilepsy Toronto. Thank you everyone for your generous donations!

This is just the start for us – we are pleased to announce that the Futurecon Team will be at various events throughout the year, and we look forward to returning later this year with Futurecon 2.0! Keep an eye here for notice of where and when we’ll be appearing… we have lots of fun events and appearances in the works, and can’t wait to see you all again.

Let’s meet in the Future!

Travel to the future with us!

We all wish the holidays could be longer… how about if we could make New Year’s Eve a 3 day party? No need for a time machine or a Doc Brown rigged DeLorean… using the power of time travel, Futurecon is 3 DAYS of fun for the price of one!!!

On New Year’s Eve, why be like everyone else?! Why spend so much just for the usual over-crowded dance floors, drunken strangers and overpriced drinks?

You can do it all at Futurecon!
If you’re into videogames, tabletop gaming, science-fiction, fantasy, steampunk, anime, or anything else that involves time travel, Futurecon is a cannot-miss event as 2010 becomes 2011! Futurecon brings you all of the above, PLUS parties galore, charity fundraisers, and of course the big event – New Year’s Eve – featuring dinner and entertainment hosted by TV heroes Ed the Sock and Liana K (stars of This Movie Sucks).
And don’t forget dancing ‘til tomorrow with local favourite DJ Radio Free Zetox and special guest DJ from Winnipeg, Gopher the Music playing hits from the 60s forward as we count down our journey into the future.

It’s a fully customizable, fully-loaded experience! It’s just $60 at the door for 3 days of fun! Time travel to the future with us!
